	Company: Summit Surgical Inc. is a privately owned Biomet distributorship for orthopedic implants, orthobiologic products, sports medicine, trauma, and medical equipment repair and maintenance. Founder and owner, Gary A. Barnett has successfully grown the business since its inception in 1995. Using his 24 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, Gary now manages the Biomet and Biologics product lines. Under Gary's leadership, Summit Surgical has experienced tremendous success, including winning the Biomet Distributor of the Year Award (out of 90+ nationwide) in 1998 and 2008. Service Excellence: Summit Surgical maintains a positive reputation by providing outstanding products and service to orthopedic surgeons, their staffs and their hospitals, throughout the state of North Carolina. Support: Our staff consists of members with backgrounds in medical sciences, sports medicine, business, accounting, communications and marketing. Sales Force: Summit Surgical manages a sales force of more than 20 representatives, spanning from Wilmington to Asheville, in all major metropolitan areas. Resource Management: Our order and distribution system includes a centralized office in Cary (just outside of Raleigh) and a satellite office in Charlotte. We own and operate two warehouses that house Biomet product lines, implants and instruments. Three logistics managers track inventory and supervise our full and part time couriers.
